I really wish I was old enough to be out of high school and out of this town. I wish I was living in a tiny but beautiful apartment in Manhattan where I could jog through the city early every morning and listen to the sounds of the city and audition for every stage role I possibly can and work in a quaint adorable coffee shop and not judge anyone for appearance or opinion or anything because it’s a city where judging everything and everyone is pointless and I would only worry about what I think of me and I would barely be able to afford anything but I would be happy. It sounds odd, but that’s just what I want. Instead, here I sit, across the country from where I want to be, dealing with judgmental high school bullshit and parents that I can never please. I dream though. I will always dream about being a poor actress in New York. Unfortunately, that’s a dream for too many people. Maybe one day when I can get out of school and out of this town I’ll be there. Maybe.
